Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Thorbit, you agree to these Terms. If using on behalf of an organization, you represent authority to bind that organization.

2. Description of Service

Thorbit is a SaaS platform providing AI-powered SEO and content analysis, topical authority mapping, content strategy and brief generation, deep research, on-page optimization, and additional tools as developed.

3. Account Registration and Security

You must provide accurate information, keep credentials secure, and are responsible for all account activity. You must be at least 18 years old.

4. Data Collection and Privacy

We collect account information, usage data, and content you generate. Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We will not sell your personal information. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

5. Your Content and Data

Ownership: You retain full ownership of all content you input and all outputs generated. Thorbit claims no ownership.

AI Training: We do NOT use your content to train AI models without explicit consent.

License: You grant Thorbit a limited license to process your content solely for providing the Service.

6. Acceptable Use Policy

Use the Service for lawful SEO analysis, content strategy, and business purposes only. Prohibited: security violations, prompt injection, reverse engineering, harmful activities, and abuse. Violations may result in immediate suspension, account termination, and legal action.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service software, algorithms, and designs are owned by Thorbit. You receive a limited, non-exclusive license for internal business use.

8. Payment and Subscription

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal. Cancel anytime through account settings. No refunds for partial periods except as required by law.

9. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice. If we discontinue the Service entirely, 30 days notice and pro-rated refunds will be provided.

10. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with Google Search Console, CMS platforms, and AI providers. We have agreements prohibiting these providers from using your data for training.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. AI-generated content may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all outputs. SEO recommendations are guidance only.

12. Limitation of Liability

Total liability is limited to amounts paid in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Thorbit from claims arising from your use of the Service, violation of Terms, or violation of third-party rights.

14. Dispute Resolution

Governed by Wyoming law. Disputes resolved through binding arbitration (JAMS or AAA). Class action and jury trial waived. Must attempt informal resolution for 30 days first. You may opt out of arbitration within 30 days of first accepting these Terms by emailing support@thorbit.ai.

15. Termination

You may terminate anytime. We may suspend for Terms violations or terminate with 30 days notice. You have 30 days post-termination to export your content.

16. Copyright and DMCA

17. General Provisions

These Terms plus our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement. Unenforceable provisions are severed. Electronic acceptance is legally binding.

18. Changes to Terms

Material changes require 30 days notice via email or in-app notification. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
